Is the Dexcom G7 10 days or 15 days?
Dexcom G7 now offers two wear options:
- Dexcom G7 (10-day wear) – FDA-cleared for ages 2 and older
- Dexcom G7 15 Day (15.5-day wear including 12-hour grace period) – FDA-cleared for adults 18+
Both sensors share the same app, receiver, and connected ecosystem, so patients and providers can choose the option that best fits their needs.

Adults 18+ with type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes.
Is Dexcom G7 15 Day compatible with the same app?
Yes, both sensors use the Dexcom G7 app and receiver.
How accurate is Dexcom G7 15 Day?
Dexcom G7 15 Day has an overall MARD of 8.0%¹, slightly better than Dexcom G7’s 8.2%.
